Beseech是一支来自瑞典的乐队，他们的家乡是靠近Gothenburg的Boras。自从1992的11月年建立以来，Beseech的历史已逾十年。不过，十年之间他们总共才推出了三张专辑，以至于很多喜欢他们的歌迷对他们的作品采取了和乐队名称一致的态度--"恳求" 。: )玩笑开罢，书归正传，还是来说说Beseech的历史吧。
和很多极端金属乐队一样，成立初期的Beseech同样是地下金属音乐界的一员。1994年，他们为一家比利时公司——Shiver records所出的极端音乐合集《Sometimes Death Is Better》录制了一首歌曲。也就是这首歌曲让Beseech的能力得到了很多国家的地下金属势力的重视和认可。1995年，Beseech发行了他们的第三张deom，通过它，乐队终于争取到了来自We Bite/Corrosion公司的一纸合约。95年年底，Beseech进入StudioMega，开始录制他们的第一张正式专辑《...from a bleeding heart》，担当这张专辑制作人的是来自乐队Sundown的Christian Silver。
正当乐队成员们为新专辑的问世欢欣鼓舞的时候，不幸的消息传来，We Bite/Corrosion公司因为经济上的原因，无法发行这张专辑。无奈，在专门负责乐队作品推广的来自Misty Music的Anders Moren的帮助下，Beseech和We Bite/Corrosion解除了合同，开始寻找新的合作伙伴。Beseech是幸运的，不久之后他们就接到了新的东家，这次邀请他们加盟的是一家非常著名的金属音乐公司——Metal Blade。
《...from a bleeding heart》 经过一段时间的操作，1998年的4月，Beseech的处子之作《...from a bleeding heart》(《来自流血的心…》)终于由Metal Blade公司在世界范围内发行。这张专辑的发行让很多极端金属歌迷的眼前为之一亮，Beseech那种平和淡雅的曲风就象是一阵清新的风。尽管作品的词作并不复杂，但他们的音乐究竟阐述了何种含义却是众说纷纭。当我第一次拿到这张CD的时候，封面就看了好一会儿，可能是理解力太差了，一点也看不出来有什么好看的，呵呵。不过，听了一遍之后，这张CD立刻成为我的收藏之一了。
这张专辑的成功，让Beseech兴奋异常，当时的成员包括Klas Bohlin(rhythm guitar)、Robert Spanglund(lead guitar)、Mikael Back(keyboard)以及Jorgen Sjoberg(vocals)。
不久之后，两个新的成员Jonas Stromberg(drums)和Daniel Elofsson(bass) 加入了乐队，Beseech拥有了一套完整的阵容。在这次人员变动之后，Beseech和Metal Blade的合作也走到了尽头，究竟是何原因，最终也未能为人所知。
在花费了一段时间解决和Metal Blade之间的相关事宜之后，Beseech正式成为Pavement Music麾下战将。Pavement Music负责乐队在世界范围内一切发展事项。1999年年底，Beseech开始录制他们的第二张专辑《black emotions》（《忧郁情感》）。在经过了一段漫长的录制过程之后，这张专辑终于在2000年问世了。和前作《...from a bleeding heart》相比，这张《black emotions》有着同样优美动听的旋律，有着同样的浪漫空幻的气息，但显然更加成熟，Beseech花费了很多时间和精力来实验各种器乐和音效，这使得这张专辑成为一张有着新鲜的现代风格的Gothic Metal作品。
《black emotions》
2000年的6月，《Black emotions》正式发行，各大音乐媒体是好评如潮。Beseech从这张专辑中选取了三首精品"Manmade dreams"、"Neon Ocean"和"Lunar Eclipse") 作为恐怖电影《Alien Agenda 5 - Alien Conspirecy》的原声音乐。这张电影原声大碟将在2002年的年中由加拿大Brimstone电影公司发行。
《Souls highway》
2001年伊始， beseech开始了一次大规模的欧洲巡演，和他们同行的是Theatre Of Tragedy和Lacuna Coil。这次一直持续到二月底的巡演是如此成功，很多歌迷成为他们新的拥护者。
在这次巡演结束之后不久，主唱Jorgen Sjoberg由于个人生活上的原因离开了乐队，Beseech不得不为寻找这个重要位置的填补者而忙碌。终于，他们遇到了Erik Molarin，一位有着出色的演唱天赋的歌手，他的加入为Beseech的作品增添了很多新的感觉，不仅如此，他和那位女声歌手Lotta的合作也是珠联璧合。
