美国摇滚歌手Marilyn Manson(玛丽莲-曼森)继2007年《Eat Me, DrinkMe》后的第七张录音室唱片即将发行。这张专辑被命名为《The High End Of Low》，一首名为《We're FromAmerica》的歌曲将在3月27日在玛丽莲-曼森的官网上提供试听以和下载。
这张新专辑中的第一支官方单曲《Arma...geddon》将于4月13日做电台推广。在新键盘手Chris Vrenna和鼓手GingerFish等新成员加入后，玛丽莲-曼森将于今年六月开展一次大规模的欧洲巡演，届时乐迷将能领略到玛丽莲-曼森全新阵容所带来的震撼。
这张被命名为《The High End Of Low》的全新专辑由曼森和乐队成员担任制作，录制于曼森自己位于好莱坞山丘的录音棚。近日曼森在面对媒体的采访时，透露了更多关于这张新专辑的创作细节。
在谈到新专辑时，曼森说到：“这张专辑和我一样‘重生’了。这张唱片听起来貌似很消极，但其实内在是很乐观而积极的，虽然乐观这个词用在我身上非常奇怪。”
“专辑里的歌曲非常有故事性，就象我早期的专辑《Antichrist Superstar》一样。歌曲的排序和我在创作时的顺序一样。我创作的时候感觉这一切就象是一个你无法预知结果的故事，但我为了让这张唱片变得完整而不得不去给这个故事画上句号。”
曼森接着说到：“我在自己房间的墙上创作出了所有的歌词，这让我的房间看起来很棒。如果有人在这张唱片发行之前去了我的房间，他将能感受到这个故事是如何发生并如何结束的。在专辑的创作过程中我拍了大量的照片，所以这张专辑的画面设计也将故事性十足。我向来喜欢拍照，这些拍下的照片与我的音乐密不可分。”
“专辑里有一首歌名叫《15》，是专辑里的第15首歌。它是自认为在近期里所写的最重要的一首歌曲。这是一首能使Twiggy成为吉他英雄的歌曲，它就象史诗一般华丽。而写出这首歌的那天正是1月5日，所以我给命名为《15》。”
曼森最后说到：“我个人把这张专辑看做是一部电影，就象是我所执导的电影。我不想呈现出简单而普通的生活，既然是电影，那我的手法就是夸张。人们把我看做是一个混蛋或者是一个做出各种怪异事情的怪胎，这些都不要紧，因为这些只是电影的一部分而已，反而是这些不喜欢我的人们使我更有创造力。

我觉得“15” 这首歌也很好听。挺喜欢里面安静的感觉，很舒服 。
